Develop your professional network

The main aim of France Alumni Egypt network is to connect its members first with each other and then with companies and organisations. This is why, in addition to its activities to unite its members, it organises conferences, training and visits to French and Franco-Egyptian companies frequently.

The French Institute in Egypt remains an unwavering partner of the France Alumni Egypt network. It welcomes interns every year on its various sites (Mounira, Heliopolis "in Cairo" and Alexandria) and recruits new employees most often among the graduates of the French-Speaking Excellence Departments at Egyptian Universities or graduates in France

Stay in France after graduation

To stay in France after finishing your studies and obtaining your degree, non-European students must have a promise of employment or a contract of employment and a salary at least equal to one and a half times the legal minimum wage (2220 euros gross per month in 2017).

Without a promise of employment, you can apply for a temporary residence permit (autorisation provisoire de séjour - APS) valid for twelve months and non-renewable while looking for a job in France. For this, you must hold a professional bachelor (licence professionnelle) or a master's degree or have a business/entrepreneurship project.
