Essentials before going to France | Information sessions (July 2018)

France is the fourth host country for mobile students thanks to the richness of the French education system. This year again many Egyptian students will join French universities to study. In order to help them prepare for their departure to France, Campus France Egypt organized three information sessions which took place on July 3, 9 and 30, 2018 at the French Institute in Egypt (in Cairo and Alexandria). These sessions were prepared in collaboration with the Association of Egyptian Students in France (ADEEF).

These sessions allow students to obtain information concerning the administrative procedures to be accomplished when arriving in France but also the documents that need to be provided before leaving and which will be necessary for the administrative registration at the university, the opening of a bank account, or the OFII, etc.

These sessions also guide students in their search for housing. It is possible to find for example rooms in university’s halls of residences via the web pages: messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr, lokaviz.fr

In order to help students find accommodation in France, ADEEF has signed a partnership with students’ halls of residences "Nexity Studéa" which makes finding accommodation easier. The ADEEF also offers, for the second year in a row, a settlement grant (the first month in France) to facilitate the settling in of Egyptian students upon their arrival in France.
