Introduction

The Institute of International Affairs Law (IDAI) is an offshore department of law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. It is the result of a cooperation agreement concluded with the University of Cairo and supported by the French Institute in Egypt and the French Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

IDAI, located within the Faculty of Law of Cairo University, offers a very high level of education to its students and prepare them for French Bachelor in law (3 years of studies), Master's degree of Business Law (1 year of studies) and Master 2 International and European Business Law (1 year of studies) from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a BA degree in Law from the University of Cairo ("baccalaureos" of 4 years of studies).

With 400 students, 50 annual teaching missions, the investment in its management teams - Cairo and Paris - and the support of its main partners, IDAI is proud to maintain, after 25 years of existence, a central place in the Egyptian legal and judicial (and more generally French-speaking) academic landscape.
